The purpose of NEST is for providers in any setting to be able to screen young children for developmental risk to support early identification and prevention efforts and intervene for those at high risk. As such, we designed NEST to be easy to use and highly accessible to anyone working with young children.

Our mission to increase developmental screening for all children, regardless of circumstance. As such, we provide free training materials to help you train yourselves. We are happy to work with you and come training your staff, but we do not want time and money to be obstacles to using screening tools.

To support you in doing this work, we provide three training resources. Use the PowerPoint Slides to train your teams, or print the PDFs for sharing. Once you purchase NEST you will be provided with additional training resources including how to set up and use NEST.

We believe screening can make a difference in the life of a young child and improve outcomes. We encourage you to review all the materials before implementing NEST. You may also contact us to have DR. DeCandia or Dr. Volk come train your team. We’re happy to help!
